Terms & Conditions
Helpful Answers, Always Clear and Kind!
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between the Parent/Guardian and Global Tots Preschool (referred to as “the School”). By enrolling a child, the Parent/Guardian agrees to be bound by these terms.
I. Enrollment and Admission
- Application Process: All admissions require the submission of a completed Enrollment Application Form and payment of the non-refundable Registration Fee. Acceptance is solely at the discretion of the School Management.
- Age Eligibility: Children must meet the specified age criteria for their chosen program (Playgroup, Nursery, Ready To Fly) as of the official academic start date.
- Documentation: Enrollment is provisional until the School receives and verifies all mandatory documents, including Birth Certificate, up-to-date Immunization Records, and Guardian Identification.
II. Financial Terms and Fees
- Fee Structure: Tuition fees, detailed in the official Fee Schedule, are payable according to the selected schedule (Annual, Quarterly, etc.). Fees may cover tuition, curriculum materials, and meals.
- Non-refundable Fees: The Registration Fee and any associated Application Processing Fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including withdrawal or non-acceptance.
- Late Payments: Fees must be paid by the due date. The School reserves the right to charge a late payment penalty as specified in the Fee Schedule and may suspend attendance privileges for overdue accounts.
- Fee Revisions: The School reserves the right to revise the fee structure. Parents will be notified of any changes at least 60 days prior to implementation.
III. Withdrawal and Refund Policy
- Voluntary Withdrawal Notice: Parents must provide written notice of voluntary withdrawal to the School Management at least 30 calendar days in advance.
- Tuition Refunds: Refunds for tuition (excluding non-refundable fees) will be processed according to the School's specific Refund Policy, typically involving forfeiture of fees equivalent to the 30-day notice period or the current term’s tuition.
- Expulsion: In the event a child is expelled due to behavioral issues or non-compliance with school policies, no refunds of any paid fees will be granted.
IV. Health, Safety, and Emergency
- Illness and Exclusion: Children must be kept home if they show any signs of contagious illness. The School reserves the right to exclude an ill child to protect the health of others. The child must be symptom-free for 24 hours without medication before returning.
- Medication Administration: Medication will only be administered with explicit written permission and instructions from the parent/guardian and a licensed physician.
- Emergency Consent: In the event of a medical emergency where the Parent/Guardian cannot be immediately reached, the School staff is authorized to seek necessary medical treatment, including transportation to the nearest medical facility.
V. School Policies and Conduct
- Discipline: The School employs a positive guidance policy consistent with its Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) framework. Physical or verbal punishment is strictly prohibited.
- Parental Conduct: Parents are expected to maintain respectful communication with all staff. Verbal or physical abuse directed towards staff or other children/parents will not be tolerated and may lead to immediate termination of enrollment.
- Liability: The School exercises due care for the welfare of the children; however, the School assumes no liability for accidental injury, illness, or loss of personal property occurring on the premises or during school activities, unless resulting from the School’s gross negligence.
